Summary

The author focuses on difficulties encountered when integrating low-capacity (under 100 kW) absorption air-conditioning equipment in a hot-water-supply system used to supply other heat users. An experimental plant is described and studies and experiments designed to analyze operating, particularly under part-load conditions, are discussed. Capacity-regulating systems making use of primary-hot-water flow variations are described along with the value of these in lowering the temperature of the return hot water.
