On the basis of experimental investigations aimed to heat transfer and friction factor characteristics of single-phase water flow through a circular, internally micro-finned, horizontal tube fitted with coiled wire inserts or twisted tape inserts (continuous or segmented), the calculations of performance evaluation criteria were performed.
