THE BEHAVIOUR OF ABSORPTION MACHINES DEPENDS TO A LARGE EXTENT ON THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF WORKING FLUIDS. SOME SIMPLE FORMULAE ARE DEVELOPED SHOWING THE EFFECT OF THESE PROPERTIES ON HEAT TRANSFER PERFORMANCES. RESULTS ARE GIVEN IN TABLES AND FIGURES FOR SOME MIXTURES.
