Summary
It is a cold air refrigeration machine, easily convertible in heat pump operation mode with air circulation in the exterior walls of the carriage (active insulation). Thanks to this system a great thermal comfort and important energy savings are expected in comparison to the compartments of long range trains with a traditional air conditioning system.
