Summary

The ejector performance and cooling performances of ejector expansion CO2 cycle were investigated comprehensively. The mass flow rates and the entrainment ratio of the ejector were obtained based on accurate experiments at various primary flow pressures, secondary flow pressures and back pressures. The secondary mass flow rate increases with increasing primary flow and secondary flow pressure and decreases with increasing back pressure. Both COP and the entrainment ratio decrease as the back pressure increases. The pressure lift ratio is inversely proportional to the entrainment ratio, which means a large pressure lift resulting in a small entrainment ratio.
