Summary
THIS PAPER PRESENTS THE COMPUTER AIDED ANALYSIS AND THERMAL DESIGN OF A SINGLE EFFECT ABSORPTION UNIT USING METHANOL-LITHIUM BROMIDE-ZINC BROMIDE MIXTURE AS WORKING FLUID. THE DESIGN OF SYSTEM COMPONENTS, VIZ THE GENERATOR, THE CONDENSER, THE EVAPORATOR AND THE ABSORBER HAS BEEN UNDERTAKEN ON THE BASIS OF COMPUTER AIDED THERMAL ANALYSIS OF SINGLE STAGE VAPOUR ABSORPTION CYCLE.
