Summary

At present, the area of the chromatographic peak of CFCs is generally determined manually when the gas chromatography technique is used for analyzing the components of the refrigerant mixture. However, the relative deviation of the peak area may be more than 4%. The more accurate result of chromatographic peak area is found by applying jointly gas chromatography and the computer. Finally, the standard curves (chromatographic peak area versus mass) of several refrigerants were obtained experimentally. These lay the foundation for analyzing accurately the concentration of the refrigerant mixture.
