FIRST CREATED FOR THE TEMPERATURE MAINTENANCE IN SHIP-BORNE CONTAINERS, CONAIR IS NOW A SYSTEM ALLOWING CONTROL DURING TRANSPORT OF HIGH-VALUED PERISHABLE GOODS, FROM PRODUCER TO CONSUMER. THE EXACT CONTROL OF THE AIR TEMPERATURE (1/10THK) AND OF ITS QUANTITY ALLOWS TRANSPORT WITHOUT CONTAINER PROBLEMS. THIS SYSTEM WAS FIRST INSTALLED ON SHIPS IN 1971. NOWADAYS, NEARLY EVERY MODERN SHIP IS EQUIPPED WITH CONAIR.
