Concentration dependence of pool nucleate boiling heat transfer coefficients for R134a and PAG oil system.

Author(s) : SATO T., TAKAISHI Y., OGUCHI K.

Summary

The experiments have been conducted by means of a horizontal platinum wire at saturation temperatures of 282, 292 and 302 K and at oil concentrations from 0 to 8 mass%. The present results show that the boiling heat transfer coefficient for the system concerned decreases with increasing oil-concentration as a whole but increases slightly at a low oil-concentration of about 2 mass%.
