Summary
Experiments were conducted to obtain row-by-row heat transfer data during condensation of downward-flowing HFC-134a vapour in a staggered bundle of horizontal low-finned tubes. The results were compared with previous results for HCFC-123. Comparison was also made with theoretical predictions for a stagnant vapour and predictions of an empirical equation for a staggered bundle of horizontal smooth tubes.
