Summary
Condenser pressure can be regulated using velocity controllers for condenser fans. Compressor capacity control can interfere with velocity control, which involves limiting the field of action of the fan's velocity controller. With a commercial pressure switch that eliminates half the air, the application possibilities are doubled (see also IIR Bulletin, ref. 98-1609).
