Type of article: Article
Summary
This study involved low (-20°C) and ultra-low (-80°C) temperature storage of coconut embryos. Dehydration was performed before storage, and rapid warming was applied following recovery. This study demonstrated that coconut germplasm can be stored on a medium-term basis at -20°C, but that cryopreservation is preferred in long-term storage.
