Summary

In this study, 5 Citrus species were air-dried then cryopreserved. Embryo or axis survival following cryopreservation ranged from 65 to 96% and healthy seedlings were obtained, and the results demonstrated the importance of cryopreservation for the banking of seeds of higher plants.
