THE AUTHOR STUDIES VARIOUS FACTORS LIMITING CONSUMED ENERGY BY BASING ON THERMODYNAMIC DIAGRAMS AND TEST MEASUREMENTS. THE FOLLOWING ARE ENVISAGED: THROTTLING PROVIDING THE EQUILIBRATION BETWEEN THE EVAPORATORS OF A PLANT, THE DECREASE IN PRESSURE DROP IN THE SUCTION LINE, CONTROL OF THE ROTATION RATE OF THE PUMP.
