Cooling ceilings: an opportunity to reduce energy costs by way of radiant cooling.
Author(s) : BRUNK M. F.
Summary
Besides the selection of an adequate air distribution system, another influential factor in energy savings is the integration of an adequate cooling supply system. In this connection, the use of a cooling tower and an ice chiller may help reduce overall energy costs. The paper includes measurement results, comparisons of systems, and expected operating costs of plants.
