Summary

Radiant floors have already been demonstrated to be useful in the heating field and are now being used in cooling applications. However, there is little knowledge on certain operating parameters and studies are being performed at present in order to ensure that this process is fully controlled. Costic, following a request from the R&D Department of Electricité de France (EDF), has performed research demonstrating the influence of parameters such as flow rate and water temperature on the cooling capacity of the floor.
