Summary
This study is on the cooling of rheofluidifying, non-newtonian fluids flowing inside horizontal cylindrical pipes. A numerical procedure was developed to determine speed and temperature ranges, taking into account possible solidification. A method of estimating the local heat transfer coefficients is also proposed, and then compared to the calculation results.
