PARAMETERS SUCH AS CHILLING COST OF MILK, BREAK-EVEN POINT, UTILIZATION OF INSTALLED CAPACITY AND RATE OF RETURN WERE STUDIED FOR ONE YEAR IN A NEW PUBLIC-SECTOR MILKING PLANT ESTABLISHED IN THE RURAL AREA OF MAHARASHTRA, INDIA.
