Author(s) : UTEVSKIJ A. M.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THE ARTICLE DISCUSSES THE PROBLEM ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE USAGE OF CRYOBIOLOGICAL DATA AND CONCEPTS DURING THE ANALYSIS OF GENERAL BIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS, SUCH AS CHARACTERISTICS OF < ANIMATED > AND THE THEORY OF ORIGIN OF < ANIMATED > FROM < INANIMATED >. THE RESULTS OF THE ARTIFICIAL LOW TEMPERATURE ANABIOSIS -CRYOPRESERVATION -ARE IN SOME CONTRADICTION WITH THE BIOLOGICAL POSTULATE ABOUT THE NECESSITY OF CONTINUOUS BIOLOGICAL EXCHANGE AND THE PRESENCE OF THE STATE OF THE < OPEN SYSTEM > FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE UNIQUE < ANIMATED > STRUCTURE. REFERENCES ARE GIVEN ABOUT THE POSSIBLE ROLE OF CRYOGENIC FACTORS IN THE ORIGIN OF BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS.
