Summary

The book includes the papers of the 9th Intersociety Cryogenic Symposium of the ASME, AICHE and IIR presented at the 16th Annual Energy-Sources Technology Conference and Exhibition, held in Houston, Texas, January 31 to February 4, 1993. The topics range from small cryogenic equipment and applications such as compact cryogenic refrigerators used to reduce liquid helium boil-off in MRI superconducting magnets to the design of large scale cryogenic equipment and processes used to improve the efficiency of commercial air separation plants.
