Cryoinjury in human granulocytes and cytoplasts.
Author(s) : YANG H., ARNAUD F., MCGANN L. E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Human granulocytes are among the cells the most difficult to cryopreserve. The article concerns the cytoplasts created by these granulocytes and studies the role that the granulocyte membrane may play in cryoinjuries. It seems that the membrane does not play the primary role in cryoinjury, but that the cytoplasmic elements in the granulocyte are responsible.
