CRYOINJURY OF BULL SPERMATOZOA AFTER CRYOPRESERVATION WITH SEMEN DILUENTS LAICIPHOS AND GX22 L.

[In Bulgarian. / En bulgare.]

Summary

AN ELECTRON MICROSCOPE INVESTIGATION WAS CARRIED OUT TO ASSESS THE QUALITIES OF CRYOPROTECTANTS ON THE BASIS OF ULTRA-STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF THE OBSERVED CHANGES IN BULL SPERMATOZOA AFTER CRYOPRESERVATION. IT WAS ESTABLISHED THAT THE MEDIA PRESERVED RELATIVELY WELL THE PLASMALEMMA AND THE ACROSOME OF THE SPERM CELLS AND THAT THE ULTRASTRUCTURE OF THE MITOCHONDRIA WAS ALSO INTACT. THE ULTRASTRUCTURAL CHANGES OBSERVED WERE LOCATED MAINLY IN THE APICAL PART OF THE ACROSOMAL CAP AND WERE REPRESENTED BY A LOSS IN THE ACROSOMAL CONTENT. THESE CHANGES CAN BE CONSIDERED AS A SIGN OF ALTERATIONS IN MEMBRANE PERMEABILITY.
