MOLECULAR AND INTRACELLULAR MECHANISMS OF MEMBRANE CRYODAMAGE.
[In Russian. / En russe.]
Author(s) : BELOUS A. M.
Summary
THE PAPER DEALS WITH THE MECHANISM OF THERMAL AND OSMOTIC CELL SHOCK AND MOLECULAR AND CELLULAR REGULARITIES OF CRYODAMAGE OF MEMBRANE STRUCTURES AT LOW AND SUPERLOW TEMPERATURES. THE PECULIARITIES OF STRUCTURAL AND PATHOBIOCHEMICAL MEMBRANE REARRANGEMENTS AFFECTED BY LOW TEMPERATURES AND CRYOPROTECTANTS ARE DESCRIBED. A NEW CONCEPTION OF CELLULAR CRYODAMAGE IS SUGGESTED. IT IS BASED ON A TRANSMEMBRANE DEFECT AS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FACTOR.
