Summary

This book includes the papers presented during the congress "Cryomedicine Argentina 1992", held in Argentina on October 1992 and sponsored by the International Institute of Refrigeration. These papers were concerning cryobiology and cryopreservation, and cryotherapy in dermatology (skin cancer treatment for instance), gynaecology (treatment of cervix dysplasia, etc.), otorhinolaryngology, proctology (treatment of rectal cancers, etc.) and urology (treatment of bladder tumours, of prostatic carcinomas, etc.).
