Summary

THE AUTHOR REPORTS THE RESULTS OF THE CRYOTHERAPY OF HEAD AND NECK TUMOURS, WITH THE PERCENTAGE OF RECURRENCE, IN 2,540 PATIENTS OVER 15 YEAR FOLLOW-UP. THE PERCENTAGE OF RECURRENCE WAS 5% FOR LID TUMOURS AND 5.5% FOR FACE TUMOURS. AFTER THE TREATMENT, THE SCARS DO NOT CAUSE SHRINKAGE AND THE COSMETIC ASPECT IS SATISFACTORY. CRYOTHERAPY IS MORE PARTICULARLY RECOMMENDED FOR TUMOURS IN CRITICAL LOCATIONS.
