Crystallization of metastable phases and superconductivity in an amorphous gallium antimonide.

[In Russian. / En russe.]

Summary

The structural relaxation processes and crystallization of metastable phases in amorphous alpha-gallium-antimony samples prepared by quenching under pressure are studied by means of measuring the temperature and time dependences of resistivity, differential thermal analysis, and X-ray analysis. The essential role of nonstoichiometric amorphous gallium-antimony phase arising in the sample bulk at certain synthesis conditions is found.
