CYCLE ANALYSIS OF REFRIGERATION AND HEAT PUMPING ABSORPTION SYSTEMS UTILIZING LOW GRADE ENERGY WITH SOME NEW WORKING FLUIDS.

Author(s) : BORDE I., YARON I., JELINEK M.

Summary

USING VARIOUS WORKING FLUIDS, THE PERFORMANCE OF AN ABSORPTION CYCLE WAS STUDIED AND THE BEST OPERATING CONDITIONS OF THE CYCLE WERE SELECTED. WITH R22, THE AUTHORS SHOWED THAT IN TERMS OF REFRIGERATION COP, HEATING COP AND RATIO OF THE FLOW RATE OF THE RICH SOLUTION TO THE FLOW RATE OF THE REFRIGERANT, THE SOLVENTS WERE BY DECREASING ORDER: DMF (DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE), DMMP (DIMETHYL-METHYL-PHOSPHONATE), DMETEG (DIMETHYLETHER OF TETRAETHYLENE GLYCOL) AND MCL (METHYL-EPSILON-CAPROLACTAM).
