Summary
R407C, R410A and R410B are among the favored candidates to replace R22. Nevertheless, these blends contain, among other fluids, R125 and R32, and the choice of a suitable dehydrating filter is often difficult, because of the small size of R32 molecules, which means that desiccants must meet special requirements. Among the dehydrating filters compatible with R407C, R410A and R410B there are models whose cartridge is made up exclusively of molecular sieves and others with both molecular sieves and activated alumina.
