Summary
The global recession also had an impact on meat production, trade and consumption. Over the past year, Australia had seen the following trade shifts: beef value went down due to a fall in beef consumption. Sheepmeat grew up because of expanding lamb demand and supply. In the medium to the long term, demand for agriculture food will rise.
