Summary
The disappearance of borders within Europe caused the demand for refrigerated transport to drop sharply last year. Moreover, there was also no earnings increase in the former East European countries. The disappearance of the Iron Curtain was expected to open up a large consumer market, which would have needed large-scale distribution methods. The limited expenditure leeway in these countries burst the bubbles however.
