Summary
This article deals with the properties of R419A refrigerant. The regulations on new fluorinated refrigerants are described according to their global-warming and ozone-depleting effects. The thermodynamic and thermophysical properties are presented. The basic toxicological and safety issues are discussed. Also, some technical issues regarding R419A usage in cooling equipment are included.
