Summary

In industrial processes, heat is required at high temperatures to above 120 °C. Heat pumps will be used for this purpose and in the past with R114. In a public research project the zeotropic refrigerant mixture R365mfc/R227ea was proved to be a long term solution. After thermo-physical and chemical-thermal investigations a field test system was constructed as a high temperature heat pump for industrial use which was then installed, commissioned and measured.
