Description of the STELF process for use in refrigeration.
Descriptif du procédé STELF pour les applications frigorifiques.
Author(s) : ADELL J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
After a review of the principle of refrigeration by use of chemical reactions between certain salts and ammonia, the technology of the reactor, producing a reliable mass and heat transfer is described. The operation of the one-salt machine with standard evaporator and condenser is analyzed with its control, energy recovery, efficiency. The technical and economic advantages of the device are detailed. J.L.
