Summary
The equilibrium properties of ammoniates, which are made from the ammoniation of salts, (e.g. halides of alkali metals and alkali earth metals) are known to form solid ammoniates over a wide temperature range, some become liquid ammoniates. The applications to the chemical heat pump systems using ammoniates are also mentioned. The chemical heat pump systems are promising for efficient heat utilization.
