Summary
Presents three air conditioning systems commonly used in data centers – conventional chilled water air conditioning system, single cold source plus plant heat exchanger air conditioning system and double cold sources plus plant heat exchanger air conditioning system. With a data center in Beijing as example, by analysing the exergy loss and exergy efficiency, concludes that the middle temperature double cold sources plus plant heat exchanger air conditioning system has lower energy consumption and higher energy efficiency than that of the conventional system.
