DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE OF A TWO STAGES ABSORPTION HEAT TRANSFORMER.

Summary

A NEW TWO-STAGE HEAT TRANSFORMER WAS DESIGNED, WHICH ALLOWS TO GET HIGHER UTILISATION TEMPERATURES. THE ENGINE ESSENTIALLY CONSISTS OF THREE HERMETIC VESSELS OPERATING AT THREE DIFFERENT PRESSURE LEVELS, INSTEAD OF THE TWO VESSELS OF CONVENTIONAL HEAT TRANSFORMERS. THE WORKING FLUID IS A WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE SOLUTIONAND ABOUT ALL THE EQUIPMENTS OF THE ENGINE ARE DERIVED FROM THE STANDARD EQUIPMENT OF ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINES.
