Design of a wet compression-resorption heat pump for steam generation.
Author(s) : MACHIELSEN C. H. M., TIRON A., ZAMFIRESCU C.
Summary
Compression-resorption heat pumps combine the advantages of absorption and compression heat pumps. They can achieve high COPs at high temperature levels (up to 180 °C) and also high temperature lifts. Two cycles can be distinguished: the wet compression and the dry compression cycle. The design and performances of an ammonia water heat-pump system are presented.
