THE ARTICLE PRESENTS THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH ON THE USE OF A < THERMOPRESSOR > IN A TWO-STAGE AMMONIA REFRIGERATION PLANT. IT ANALYZES THE LOWERING OF THE DISCHARGE TEMPERATURE OF VAPOURS, DUE TO ATOMIZED-LIQUID-AMMONIA INJECTION AND EVAPORATION.IT STUDIES ALSO THE INFLUENCE OF THIS SYSTEM ON THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION.
