DETECTION OF AN ATOMIC HYDROGEN GAS OF LOW DENSITY BELOW 1 K.

DETECTION D'UN GAZ D'HYDROGENE ATOMIQUE DE FAIBLE DENSITE EN DESSOUS DE 1 K.

Author(s) : COLLAUDIN B., HEBRAL B.

Summary

THE AUTHORS PRESENT THE RESULTS OF A NEW TYPE OF BOLOMETER ESPECIALLY SUITABLE FOR THE STUDY OF SURFACE PHENOMENA AS THE RECOMBINATION OF H OR THE EVAPORATION OF HELIUM FILM. MADE OUT OF DOPED SILICON IT GIVES THE POSSIBILITY TO DETECT DENSITY LOWER THAN 1 TERA/CM3 OF THIS NEW GAS.
