APPLES, AFTER IMMERSION IN AQUEOUS BENOMYL, THIOBENDAZOLE, METHYLTHIOPHANATE AND CARBENDAZIM SOLUTIONS, WERE STORED AT 0 OR 2 DEG C, AT 85-90% RH. QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS BY HPLC OF RESIDUES IN SKIN, FLESH AND WHOLE FRUIT AFTER 0 TO 6 MONTH STORAGE. THE CONCENTRATIONS DETECTED ARE VERY LOW AND LOWER THAN THE LIMITS ALLOWED BY REGULATIONS.
