Summary

ANALYSIS OF THE EXCHANGE BY CONVECTION IN HELIUM II. HEAT EMISSION IN THE SEPARATION ZONE BETWEEN HELIUM II AND WALL OF THE DUCT. DETERMINATION OF THE CRITICAL DENSITY OF HEAT FLUX. WHEN ACHIEVING THE BOUNDARY VELOCITY AT WHICH HEAT LEAVES THE DUCT THE CRITICAL STATE OF HEAT EMISSION WILL APPEAR. BASED ON THEIR EXPERIMENTS THE AUTHORS PROPOSE A GENERAL RELATIONSHIP FOR DETERMINING THE CRITICAL DENSITY IN CYLINDRICAL OPEN DUCTS AND AT TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 1.7 AND 2.1 K.
