DEVELOPMENT OF A CONTROLLER FOR LIVESTOCK BUILDINGS BASED ON AN AIR FLOW RATE MEASUREMENT DEVICE.

Summary

IN MODERN LIVESTOCK BUILDINGS, THERE IS A GREAT INTERNAL GAS-, MOISTURE-AND HEAT-PRODUCTION AND A NEED FOR WELL CONTROLLED AIR FLOW RATE THROUGH THE BUILDING. IT IS SHOWN THAT EXISTING CONTROL EQUIPMENT CANNOT REGULATE THE AIR FLOW RATE (WIND ACTION). A NEW AIR FLOW RATE MEASUREMENT DEVICE FOR THIS DUSTY AND CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENT HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND HAS BEEN COMBINED WITH A CONTROLLER TO GIVE BETTER AIR FLOW RATE CONTROL. THE WORKING PRINCIPLE IS DESCRIBED.
