Type of article: Article
Summary
In recent years, highly heat insulated residences have become more common. In order to correspond with such a change in housing characteristics, the authors have developed a new compressor which adopted the first variable cylinder system in the world which can stop one of two cylinders. This new technology has realized efficient compressor operation in low load conditions, and has raised energy savings sharply throughout air conditioner operation capability.
