Summary
Testing methods for clothing systems require either physiological assessment or laboratory-based evaluation with instrumented manikins. Both methods can be expensive and time consuming. The paper reports progress that has recently been made on the development of an alternative technique for clothing system evaluation using a "virtual manikin".
