Summary
The paper details some standard work undertaken for the general development and testing of refrigeration lubricants and demonstrates some performance parameters of candidates for HFC-410A systems. It also presents a novel semi-soluble lubricant solution that not only gives performance enhancements but also is a lower cost option when compared with standard polyolester lubricants.
