Development of new type rotary compressors suspended with twin springs in a low side pressure shell.
Author(s) : KAWAGUCHI S., SATO K., SAKAI M., et al.
Summary
The authors compared several types of compressors from the viewpoint of noise reduction, vibration control and transient phenomena such as start-up noise. It is proved that the low side pressure shell internal-suspended type is most advanced. According to this result, new type rotary compressor was developed. By solving many difficulties such as oil feeding and vane forcing, the new type rotary compressor achieved reduction in stationary noise of 6 decibel A, and start-up noise of 8 decibel A, in comparison with previous models, and it has only 1/4 the stationary vibration of the previous ones.
