Summary
A survey was conducted of 46 laboratory animal rooms at 3 commercial use sites, 5 universities, and 1 research organization. Air exchange rates, air velocities, temperatures, humidities, ammonia concentrations, noise levels, and light levels were measured throughout the room and within selected cages in the room. Results are given.
