DISTRICT HEAT SUPPLY IN SCANDINAVIA HAS BEEN GREATLY EXTENDED IN RECENT YEARS. THE HEATING PERIOD IS LONG EG IN FINLAND 8 TO 10 MONTHS. WARM WATER IS REQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE YEAR.
