Summary

Global warming causes serious problems to our life. In order to solve this environmental issue, the research and development of non-fluorinated gas based energy-saving systems for small retail stores were conducted. This system is composed of refrigerated showcase, freezer and air conditioner while using ammonia (NH3)-Brine for its working fluids. Electric power consumption of the system is assumed to be 21% less than conventional system. The world’s first non-fluorinated energy-saving refrigeration and air conditioning systems were developed practically for small sized retail store.
