Distribution of heat flux density in spiral heat exchangers.

Author(s) : BES T., ROETZEL W.

Type of article: Article

Summary

In contrast to the conventional procedure, the heat flux density distribution is considered, which offers considerable advantages over a direct analysis of the fluid temperatures. The influence of various geometrical parameters is investigated and charts are presented for the design and rating of spiral heat exchangers.
